THE RECIPE
2oz 504Gold 1oz 504Syrups Praline 1.5oz carrot juice 1oz passion fruit juice 1oz coconut cream .5oz lemon juice 1oz orange juice 3 dashes orange bitters A dash of ground cinnamon Add ingredients to cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain, top with a dash of ground cinnamon. THE STORY We loved experimenting with carrot juice cocktails during Mardi Gras (you might remember our limited special 504King Cake cocktail Carrot King...) and decided to bring back the unique flavor for Easter! We've been surprised by how well carrot juice pairs with rum and fruit juice - it provides a nice earthy balance to the sugary presence of fruit juice, and in this cocktail, pairs with the smoky finish of the 504Gold to create something truly special. We recommend drinking the 24 Carrot Gold with a side of carrot cake or a savory pot roast!

We're SO EXCITED to finally be experiencing our first true festival season with 504Rum! Even though we've been open for more than two years now, this is our first year we're able to really fest with 504Rum since the pandemic began. With the recent release of our line of 504Syrups, we've been excited to experiment and create new flavors both in cocktail and mocktail form for the whole family to enjoy on the fairgrounds, on the bayou, and everywhere else we fest in New Orleans. Fest Weather, one of our spring menu items, features 504Syrups Hibiscus and all the fresh spring flavors we all look forward to when the jasmine starts to bloom. THE RECIPE

During the height of Carnival season (and 504King Cake season), we made weekly specials based off of the flavors of our favorite king cakes from around the city. The Stuffed Strawberry Shortcake was one of our absolute favorites - so much so that it became a fixture on our limited parade menu! Our main inspiration for flavors is all things local - a strawberry king cake cocktail checks just about every box when it comes to creating something uniquely New Orleanian. With Mardi Gras over, we're entering one of our other favorite seasons - Louisiana strawberry season! This cocktail is the perfect transitionary drink to carry us straight into festival season. Be sure to reserve your bottle of 504King Cake before we close sales on March 18 - your next chance to get a bottle wont be until January 6, 2023! THE RECIPE

We've never been on a Ski Lift before, but it sounded like a good name for a wintertime cocktail... So we figured we could gather inspiration from our memories of tropical ziplines - that's the same thing basically, right? Ski Lift tastes like riding through the air in a cool breeze - refreshing with just the right amount of bite from the three types of house-made bitters we put in this cocktail. So what if it tastes more like a warm, oceanside breeze than a frigid, mountainside breeze? THE RECIPE

Like Tim Allen in The Santa Clause, we woke up like this. Sleigh All Day tastes like the magic of the first snow - creamy and sweet with just a note of savory spice and nutty warmth in the praline syrup (we make that in-house! Ask us about it next time you're in the tasting room). At least, that's what we think, we've spent most of our winters in New Orleans and haven't seen snow here in a decade... (Remember the magic of that snowfall in 2011?) |
